Melbourne..... This is the destination that I really keen and it took me some time to prepare the itinerary with my friends.
We've been preparing it for few months before the travel period, things we basically work out is places to see in Victoria besides walking around in the Melbourne City itself, and I was lucky enough that I do not worry about my lodge in Melbourne as I will be staying with my friends too. Honestly, I'm on a tight budget for this Aussie trip, those who help me, thank you so much guys, I appreciate it so so much! Especially Firdaus for hosting me during my stay in Melbourne, together with Tharne as well. And of course, Simon aka KK that help me to arrange my stay in Canberra & Sydney, you guys are awesome!
$600AUD was a VERY tight Budget for 16 days in Aussie!!! Indeed, I managed to survive and we really save a lot in Aussie.

Maybe the tips that I can share is that :
1) If you have friends that stay for some time in the place you will travel, they will surely know the reasonable price of the food and will take you there
2) Consider to buy groceries and spend time cooking at home as it save a lot! Trust me, food in Aussie, the price is totally you can't bear sometimes
3) Plan ahead, count the cost of where you will need to spend money, for instance, the place of attraction.
4) Stay in the hostel/backpackers (it is so safe, most parents and friends think that it is not safe, but trust me, they are so wrong on that!)

Honestly, I love Aussie so much, the city is vibrant, people are open and also the tourist attraction and scenery is stunning.
Well, this trip went well so far, I remember that each and everyday, I will have appointment with different people, group of friends from different universities and it was AWESOME!
Making new friends and also learning their experience is really awesome. I've cover most of the places in Melbourne and if I am given a chance to go back to Aussie, I am aiming to go to Darwin this time because I really hear a lot of good things from it from travelers these days.... So, work hard and earn $ more to achieve my dream I guess..... xx

When the time comes to save, and I have to limit my spending on good food in Aussie, normally me & Firdaus will be going to COLES to buy some groceries, also went to few shops that serve local Malaysian food which is cheaper :)
Friends from INTEC and some new friends that I met, also people from Swinburne :)
So yea, basically I'm here to promote some universities from Melbourne too.... :)

I really have a good time in Sydney, Thank you so much KK!

7 hours of driving in total for Great Ocean Road from Melbourne City definitely a tiring journey, plus it was winter...
But honestly, the view during the trip was stunning ! The journey to Great Ocean Road is known as the most scenic drives, because due to the road hugs coastline !!!
We managed to visit to  the 12 Apostles, Port Campbell & Loch Ard Gorge! It is a must go destination on your checklist when you are in Melbourne!!! This amazing views will blown you away !!! :D

Meet Azie, Cynthia & Huat Kai in Melbourne and it was an amazing moments because I knew them from Kuching when they were in Sarawak Campus. Lovely and lucky to meet them in Melbourne! We had a great dinner at one of the Indonesian restaurant, price wise, it is affordable as you know Melbourne living expenses is pretty high. Good chat with them that night, all the memories that I had with them, and after dinner, we had a random plan, to EUREKA SKYDECK !!! It was of course exciting because I heard you can take good pictures there, one of Melbourne famous landmark and of course, from its 88th floor, you can view Melbourne and it was winter and of course, BLOODY COLD!
We spend most of our time that night there taking pictures, candid pictures.... All we do is SNAP POSE & WORK IT! :)
p/s - thanks Cynthia for getting us discount and to be our tour guide! Azie & Huat Kai, thanks for coming to meet up with me!
All the best for you guys undertakings in the future & cheers! Till we meet again & check out the pics for the memories! :D

Located about 140km from  south-southeast Melbourne, Victoria is a must if you are in Melbourne for more than 2 days.
There are variety parks you can actually visit when you are here, depending on your budget. My budget was honestly pretty tight the other day, I decided not to go to the Penguin Parade, instead, I've chosen a better choice which require me to spend less.
We went to the Maru Koala & Animal Park, Philip Island Chocolate Factory, Churchill Island Herritage Farm and to Nobbies Island. Our aim to see Kangaroos, Kaola, Seal & Sea Lion (Fail, there are not coming out at all), Enjoy the Spectacular Scenery of Philip Island on winter time!!!  To get there, we drive, and hire a Nissan car! :)

This is the highlight of my 14 days adventure in Australia, to feel the snow!!!
We decided to pick Lake Mountain, Victoria and it is located 90km from Melbourne city. Lake Mountain basically is a cross ski resort in Victoria that allow you to ski (depending on the amount of snow drop) and some snow play.
All necessary items such as winter wear you can hire there with reasonable amount!
And Lake Mountain is FREAKING COLD!!! Spectacular Scenery that you can never forget, you can climb to the Lake Mountain Summit, which is 1433 metres above the sea level.

Mount Dandenong is both a mountain and small township/suburb of Greater Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, 35 km east from Melbourne's central business district.
If you are in Melbourne, and would like to experience atmosphere that is refreshing and away for half day from the busy city life in Melbourne, drive up to Mount Dandenong, really beautiful place to chill & relax, there is no entrance fee when we were there.

Canberra, one of the destination that a MUST GO if you are visiting Australia. Most people think that it might be the place that is totally boring since it is only for the Parliament House. Well, I personally reckon that I prefer Canberra due it has a good scenery view and also great night life to chill with your friends~
Went there during winter, and it is freaking cold in Canberra as it can even reach to -4 Degree!!!
Went there by Tiger Airways! It is recommended to use Tiger as it is one of the cheapest option to be there!

Great People I met when I was in Canberra!!!

Brighton Beach is famous for the colourful row of "bathing boxes" that runs along its shore. These colourful little sheds are privately owned changing rooms. They can sell for as much as a house in some parts of the city. Imagine that?
And all of the house opposite the beach are really big, luxurious and really mind blowing when I look at it for the 1st sight!
Lovely place to go when you feel like walking around the beach, watching people walking with the dogs, and all the beach activities!
